The passionfruit comes in several varieties, and the most common are the yellow, purple, and orange passion fruits. They contain many edible seeds within a juicy pulp and are a good source of Vitamins A and C, lycopene, fiber.

The passion fruit has a sour taste with a potent fragrance and can be enjoyed fresh and raw and put in juices and smoothies and desserts such as puddings, cakes, jelly, and ice cream.
You have to know how much is too much. Most fruits are high in natural sugars, which can lead to some health conditions. A maximum of 3 – 4 passion fruits per day is recommended. Some studies indicate that passionfruit can cause drowsiness, dizziness, and confusion, so be mindful of its side effects and do not go over its daily recommended intake.
