“Invest in your health and regrow nature” is a business motto of Be Organic Farm

Be Organic Farm, located in Saraphi, Chiang Mai, is run by Khun Bee who is an affiliate of IMPACT FARM.

She loves all things nature, puts her heart and soul into her farming, and takes pride in giving back to the people around her and the community she lives in. Without further ado, let’s delve right into her interview.

“When COVID-19 took the world by storm in 2019, I was living aboard and pursuing a degree in agriculture, which might seem to be counterintuitive because I had no idea about farming at all. As I returned home, agriculture gradually grew on me, and I had no hesitation about it. I grew vegetables, fruits, and seasonal produce,” said Bee.

She continues “self-love is the key to success. I invest in what I eat, and my food must be safe to eat since pesticides and chemicals are used heavily to accelerate crop productivity. Finally, I had a reason to convince myself to grow my own vegetables in my own land. Every coin has two sides, so we have to be mindful of what you’re doing. I align my business strategy with social and environmental responsibility. Chemicals, in general, cause serious and long-term negative impacts on health and the environment. Using environmentally friendly products from nature such as leaf mold, manure, and composted organic materials will yield significant benefits.”

“A good soil will sustain the growth of crops.”
