IMPACT Farm” Moves Forward with Collaboration from Farmers Nationwide

Selecting New Products to Support International Market Expansion, Aiming to Create Sustainable and Continuous Income"
IMPACT Farm has selected products from the best sources to launch new items for the first time, including ready-made curry paste, coffee capsules, and healthy snacks, at the "THAIFEX – HOREC Asia" event from March 6-8, 2024. The project aims to expand into international markets, hoping to create continuous and sustainable income for communities across the country.

Paul Kanjanapas, Chief Executive Officer of Bangkok Land Public Company Limited, stated. IMPACT Farm was born from the intention to support and generate income for farmers. The project began in 2022 by purchasing seasonal fruits and vegetables from a network of farmers in Chiang Mai province. These products were then sold through the company’s network and used as ingredients for dishes served to visitors at the IMPACT Muang Thong Thani exhibition and convention center.

"During the first year, we faced quite a few obstacles. Managing the products was a challenge, and we had to adjust our approach as the produce changed with the weather. We also had to deal with transportation factors to keep the fruits and vegetables fresh, while also providing support in sales channels, marketing communications, and adding value to the products."

Simultaneously, the project worked to expand its distribution channels. It opened IMPACT Farm Salad Bar on the 3rd floor of the Food Arena food court and EAT Cafe by IMPACT @ Ministry of Public Health, adding value to products like coconut blossom nectar, sandwiches, and healthy salads. The project also expanded sales through leading food delivery applications like Grab, LINE MAN, and Robinhood, and developed healthy snack services. These efforts were well-received, as the healthy products align with current consumer behavior.

Based on this success, the idea to expand cooperation to new communities emerged. Since late 2023, IMPACT Farm has acted as a middleman, selecting products from communities nationwide to sell through various channels. Currently, these products are divided into seven groups: Seasonal fruits and vegetables, Beverages, Rice, Ready-made curry paste, IMPACT Farm snack services, Healthy snacks and Fishery products.

"The main goal of developing the IMPACT Farm sustainability project is to create opportunities and sustainable income for communities through sales channels and marketing support. In the past year, we’ve only been able to help generate a portion of the income for farmers. Therefore, we are looking for new product groups from various communities, creating added value for the products, and expanding into international markets, especially in the Middle East, to create sustainable and continuous income for communities."

Most recently, IMPACT Farm launched new products from communities under its brand, such as brown jasmine rice, coffee capsules, and healthy snacks, for the first time at the "THAIFEX – HOREC Asia" event. This aims to expand the market and customer base. It is expected that these new products will attract interest from entrepreneurs in the hotel, restaurant, and catering industries, both in Thailand and abroad. You can find IMPACT Farm at Booth U 44 from March 6-8, 2024, in buildings 9-12 at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani.
